How to Play Boardle.

  • The purpose of Boardle is to infer the correct sequence of chess moves that will result in the specified chess situation.
  • Players have a limited number of attempts (often five) to guess the correct sequence of movements. This adds a level of difficulty and promotes strategic thinking.
  • Making Guesses: Players make guesses by entering the sequence of chess moves they believe will result in the solution. Standard algebraic notation (SAN), the standard format for recording chess moves, usually documents these movements.
  • Feedback: After guessing, the game gives you feedback by changing the color of the tiles below the chessboard. The color changes show how correct the guess was.

          - Correct Spot: If a move is in the correct position, the tile changes color (for example, green).
          - Incorrect Spot: If a move is part of the solution but is not in the proper position, the tile changes color (for example, yellow).
          - If the move is not part of the solution, the tile may remain unmodified (for example, grey).

  • Submission: Players continue to guess and receive feedback until they either successfully guess the sequence of moves or have exhausted all of their attempts.
  • Solution: After entering all of their predictions, the player can submit their sequence of movements. The tiles beneath the chessboard will show the accuracy of each move.

Controls

Players engage in movement by utilizing the mouse and adhering to the established rules. You must use chess notation, namely standard algebraic notation (SAN), to make a guess. We frequently use this notation in chess to denote movements by abbreviating piece names (K for king, Q for queen, etc.) and square coordinates (e4 and g7, for example). Good fortune!
