The goal of the history-based Wordle game Yeardle is to find out how well history fans know their stuff.
How to carry out
Your starting point will be three random historical events from a specific year. The goal is to figure out their exact times.
In Yeardle, players have eight chances to get the right answer, and just like in Wordle, their wrong answer becomes a color-coded suggestion. Predictions made more than 200 years ago seem gray, while those made between 40 and 200 years ago seem brown. Red, orange, and yellow are the colors that display the most likely predictions. A correct answer is shown in green.
Fans will have to know a lot about world history to find any clues, but it looks like anything from ancient Mesopotamia to the 20th century is fair game. For example, the answer to the last Yeardle puzzle is
