In the game Travle, you have to guess a series of countries that will take you from one place to another. The goal is to be able to guess the countries with as few guesses as possible. The game includes all nations and regions that the United Nations recognizes, as well as some disputed territories and dependencies.
You can guess the countries in any order, but you must name every country you pass through on your way to the End Country. Exclaves can't be used to get around countries because they don't make new links. It's okay to jump directly over water within a country, like across the Bosphorus in Turkey or between islands in Malaysia. Jumps that force you to move closer to other countries, like between France and French Guiana, do not count.
When you make a guess, the computer will tell you with an image how close you are to getting it right. If your guess is right, it will have a green tick; if it's close, it will have a yellow triangle; and if it's wrong, it will have a red X.
Travle knows countries as well as borders and regions. People who share borders are thought to be linked, but not people who don't share borders. Groups of countries that have similar cultural, geographical, or historical traits are called regions.
Travle also has a few extra rules and features that make the game more fun and challenging. For example, some countries have more than one possible link, and players must choose the right one to move on. Also, some areas are better connected than others, which makes it easier to travel through them.
