In the music game TayHeardle, the player has six chances to name a Taylor Swift song from just a few seconds of it.
How to play TayHeardle
Games like Harry Styles Heardle, One Direction Heardle, and BTS Heardle served as inspiration for this new version. If you don't know how TayHeardle works, just think of Wordle with music. The most important rules haven't changed. After hearing a one-second sample of each song, players have six chances to get the song of the day right.
You can fix your mistakes by listening to another second of the music. After each try, the clip gets longer, going from one second to two seconds (+1), four seconds (+2), seven seconds (+3), eleven seconds (+4), and finally 16 seconds (+5).
In this version, the "Skip" button is also available. By skipping to the next second of the music, you can save time and effort. Most of the clips in the game come from the beginning of the song, but you can choose from any other part. All of the singles in the game come from SoundCloud, so you won't be able to listen to them if your location doesn't support them.
Just type in the name of the song, and the game will give you a list of other songs that are similar. Like every other Wordle offshoot, the game updates each player's time zone at midnight each day. The next song won't be shown until the next day.
If you don't think you can recognize a song in a few seconds, you can use Taylordle, a version of Wordle that tests your knowledge of Taylor Swift songs. Every day, there is a five-letter word that you have six chances to get right. Use TayHeardle and Taylordle to test how much you know about Taylor Swift.
