If your guess is wrong, you will get a different kind of hint. It shows more similarities between real and fake Pokemon than letter placement. These clues change depending on the type, size, and even generation of the Pokemon.
Fun ways to play
You don't have to worry about keeping track of which Pokémon names have five letters in Squirdle. Squirtle, on the other hand, challenges you to pick a Pokémon based on the following five factors: Type (Gen), Type (Type 1), Type (Type 2), Height, and Weight You can tell if your guess is correct by looking at the PokéBall symbols. If you pick Type 2 instead of Type 1, a side arrow will appear on the PokéBall icon.
If Squirtle is the correct generation but the wrong Pokémon, the generation box will turn green. The up and down arrows in the boxes for height and weight show whether the forecast is right or not. There are rules for each elemental type. Green means you already have it. Yellow means you correctly chose one of the two categories. For example, if you chose "water," the answer is "water/fly." You don't have one if it's red. There are about 900 Pokémon, so there is a big selection. If you don't know anything about Pokémon, this is hard. Generation 1 Only mode, which only lets you play Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, is a good option for people who are familiar with Generation 1.
